Since opening its doors in 1998, Tiburón has set itself apart with two stunning 18-hole courses, the Gold and the Black, each promising an unforgettable round amidst lush, picturesque settings.
The Gold Course, my personal favorite, throws you into the deep end right at hole 9—a tricky par-4 where water hazards and clever greens demand precision and can make or break your front nine. It’s a true test of skill and a thrilling challenge.
What really sets Tiburón apart are the distinctive crushed coquina shell bunkers and the absence of traditional rough. These features not only add unique character but also ramp up the challenge, making for some interesting play. And here’s a tip for first-timers: focus on accuracy over distance. Those strategically placed bunkers and water hazards are unforgiving!
