Hey fellow golfers, if you’re looking for a truly memorable round in Myrtle Beach, you can't miss out on the Grande Dunes Resort Club. Nestled right by the Intracoastal Waterway, this course isn’t just about the game; it’s about the experience. Opened in 2001, Grande Dunes quickly established itself as a top-tier golf destination, and it’s easy to see why.
One of my personal highlights is the 14th hole. It’s a dramatic par 5 that offers breathtaking views of the Waterway. You’ll need to skillfully navigate around water hazards and bunkers to make it to the green, but the challenge is well worth it. Trust me, the scenery alone makes it a standout hole.
For those hitting the links here for the first time, remember: accuracy off the tee is key. This course will test your precision, especially on the holes where water comes into play. And don’t forget to consider the wind, which can be quite tricky by the Waterway.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual golfer, Grande Dunes offers a blend of luxury, beauty, and challenge that’s hard to beat. So grab your clubs, and I’ll see you on the green!
